Two weeks ago I posted about the challenge I was taking on from Marshall Jones Jr. to make a list of 1,000 things I am thankful for. At that time the 1K-list was 31% complete. You can read about it here.
To give you an update of where I am now, I have written a total of 516 more things and am 82.6% complete:
312. Christmas Eve
341. Bible Scholars
418. Our honeymoon in the secluded mountains of North Carolina
529. Kids worship songs (Zacchaeus was a wee little man and a wee little man as he….)
590. The "copy/paste" functionality
620. March Madness
704. The Holy Spirit
728. High School football
770. The Heimlich maneuver
826. The other side of the pillow
Some of the things on the list come to be at bizarre moments, and some of the things come to me much later than they should have. For example, the "Holy Spirit" is at #704 on the list. Shouldn't a critical part of the Trinity have come to me at the beginning of the list? Were there really 703 things that came to my mind before the Holy Spirit? …Please don't judge me.
I need your help. I have 174 more things to put on the list. And in order to get you involved I need your suggestions.
What is something that I should have on my list?
What am I forgetting?
What are you thankful for today?
